Happy Holidays and grats on your epic loot! lol

I love gift cards. We got two this year; Home Depot and Johnny's Selected Seeds. I can't wait to start planning our huge garden :)

Our menu this year consists of a big hunk of roast beef and the usual sides. The cats got into the pumpkin pie I made though :(

Merry Christmas! And don't forget the sauce with your hot pots, too!

Hot pots are really great for winter. For us, we don't go to the trouble of a split pot, just a regular pot. Spices are then mixed into our own saucers with soyo sauce, vinegar, chilli sauce, garlic, etc. according to personal taste. I like to go soyo sauce with a touch of garlic and some chopped scallions.

Argh, this is making me hungry!
