@draiggoch: My experience says that you should absolutely gkick disruptive, disrespectful, or mean players from your guild sooner rather than later. Yes, talk to that person and give them an opportunity to modify their behavior, but heck, I'd kick a warglaives rogue if he constantly harassed other people and made everyone miserable. These types of behaviors are out there, but the great thing is that you don't have to put up with it.

This has been an excellent series.

Funnily enough I've written in my wow blog today about treating people in your guild with respect and as GM, along with the officers, this has been part of the core ethos of our guild.

A player may be a top raider, but if he's disruptive in the guild do you keep him ...

draiggochs last blog post..<a href="http://draigg-dragonsden.blogspot.com/2008/10/its-only-game-isnt-it.html" rel="nofollow">It's only a game - isn't it?</a>

Well said.

The advantage of recruiting someone while leveling is you get to find out if they are a jerk while the stakes are low. If they are mean, toxic, non helpful, only think about themselves, you can kick them before y'all make it to 80 and start raiding again.
