I purposely chose not to go too in depth about specs. There’s plenty of resources and theory crafting done already. Today, I wrote about the 3 most viable raiding specs for Holy Priests. Be unique and stand out out from the rest!

I'm Matticus and I play a Dwarf Priest. My home is in Carnage, a raiding Guild. Every week, I log 11 hours raiding on Ner'Zuhl.
My time in World of Warcraft started in the summer of 2005 when most of my friends started to play it. I decided to give it a try and I've been hooked since. The main classes I play are healers. I have a Priest, a Shaman, a Paladin, and a Druid. With the exception of the druid, all of them are level 70.
Wynthea is the Troll Priest with the best Mohawk on Nazjatar. Currently, I raid 5 nights a week, and PvP occasionally. I started working toward end-game in May 2007, and my guild is currently working through Sunwell. I've tried playing other classes, but Priests are my passion; I've found our racial spells an endless source of fun and frustration. I am extremely fond of Dwarves.... especially with Ketchup.
My name is Sydera and I like to heal things--think Florence Nightingale with foliage. I play a night elf druid on Vek'nilash-US, and I raid 12 hours a week. As a guild officer for Collateral Damage, I coordinate healing and recruit new raiders. I started playing WoW in Fall 2005, and it was love at first click. Before I discovered the joys of Broccoli-stalk healing, I raided as a holy paladin, and I now have alts in all healing classes. I have to say, though, bark beats poofy dresses and heavy plate in my book.
I’m still disappointed in how they decided to nerf power infusion because of other classes were overpowered with a certain combo. *cough elemental shamans*
I personally loved the hybrid imp divine spirit build untill i tried circle of healing. I’m probably never going back unless my head asplodes and i spec discipline for pvp.

Just jumped over from WoWInsider. Thanks for the engaging article, Matticus! One of the things that I like most about WoWInsider is that while many of the articles aren’t exactly well-written (yours excluded, of course!) or that they sometimes present information that I don’t agree with, they do prompt response from the community and I love the sharing of ideas. Some of the best discussions I’ve had about the game occured on a WoWInsider threaded comment.
