How Fast can you Kill Curator?

One of the funnest encounters for me in the game is when I get to see big 4-digit numbers scroll up through my screen. As a healer, I hardly ever see that. So it’s definitely a pleasant sight. I posted a cropped version of a kill shot I took of Curator several weeks ago because we killed him in a ridiculously fast amount of time. My personal goal is to see this guy dead before the 2 minute mark. If you’ve ever played Mario Kart, you’ll remember that the game had a function called Time Trial. I wish WoW had something like that. Then maybe we could all get funky titles based on how fast we blitz an encounter.
So how fast can you kill Curator?

General Tips
- Blow cooldowns at the 10 second to evocate mark
- Drop fire elementals at the base of Curator
- DPS down the sparks until the last one, then let it free. Group should be geared enough to withstand 15 seconds of that free spark.
Oh and you know the cardinal rule of bragging and SS or it didn’t happen. Photoshopping doesn’t count either, you crazy people!

Wynthea is the Troll Priest with the best Mohawk on Nazjatar. Currently, I raid 5 nights a week, and PvP occasionally. I started playing WoW in May 2005, and raiding end-game in May 2007. My guild is currently working through 25-man WotLK content. I've tried playing other classes, but Priests are my passion. I am extremely fond of Dwarves.... especially with Ketchup.

As a guild officer for Conquest, I coordinate healing and recruit new raiders. I started playing WoW in Fall 2005, and it was love at first click. Before I discovered the joys of Broccoli-stalk healing, I raided as a holy paladin, and I now have alts in all healing classes. I have to say, though, bark beats poofy dresses and heavy plate in my book.
Our best is 2′49″, but we’ve never actually tried to speed kill him, and the group was not our ‘A’ team (it was a gearing up run).

Did it during the first evocate, 3 locks with amped curse of doom is cheating…right?
I believe we did it once in 1:45 and that was with one DPS dying because people ignored the last flare. /glare @ DPSers
Last night when we got to Curator on our weekly Kara night, I suggested that we go for a record time. We only had 2 casters on flares, only 2 healers, and the rest of the raid (feral druid OT in kitty gear) beating on Curator full time.
We downed him in 2:18, but darn BigWigs didn’t post the kill time in my chat to screenshot. (WTB DBM) Not bad for a guild that has never been past T4 content.
Basically he only sent out the 1 wave of flares, and was under 10% after his first Evocate was over. Fun times
2:06 tonight on Curator (total run was 2 hours, 52 minutes, one wipe due to two people DC’ing on Prince)
